The American series “Are We There Yet?” is based on the 2005 film of the same name. The series continues where the film left off. It's about Nick, an old athlete who now has to make do with a 9 to 5 office job and Suzanne, the mother of two teenagers. Nick and Suzanne have been married for six months and the first problems are starting to become apparent. The life of a married couple is not always easy. In addition, Nick still has to find his place in Suzanne's family. Easier said than done when you need to gain the trust of 2 stubborn teenagers. Nick's mother also has difficulty with the fact that she has suddenly become a mother-in-law and grandmother. She especially doesn't get along with Suzanne. The series shows how the family copes with these everyday problems.
