Trollhunters season 2

Very good series. Where in season 1 the hand is clearly laid to build up the characters emotionally and to make the bond stronger, they also make good use of that in season 2. I am very curious about how it will continue. If you are a fan of How to train your dragon then this is probably for you too. I also found that there were a number of references from LOTR. Eowyn saying I'm no man to the Witch King for example or a Bular/Gunmar that resembles the Balrog or Killahead Bridge that also reminded me of Khazad Dum. Del Toro also mixes some of his own films. For example, the amulet reminds me of the watch in Cronos and opening Trollmarket with a Heartstone reminded me of the girl who draws with chalk on the wall in Pan's Labyrinth and ends up somewhere else. A mix of many other films, etc., but certainly with its own approach and world building. Highly recommended in my opinion.

By the way, it's the first animated series where I haven't given up after a few episodes.
