Psycho-Pass plot

In the 22nd century, Japan maintains the Sibyl System, an objective way to determine each citizen's threat level by examining their mental state for signs of criminal intent, known as their Psycho-Pass. Inspectors enforce the law, often with deadly force. Next to them are Enforcers, washed-out inspectors who have become latent criminals and are given relative freedom in exchange for doing the dirty work. Novice Inspector Akane Tsunemori, with a genuine desire to uphold justice, must team up with veteran Enforcer Shinya Kogami. She quickly learns that the Sibyl System's judgments are not as perfect as her colleagues assume.
