Bordertown plot
Set in a fictional desert town near the US-Mexico border, the comedy focuses on the everyday lives of neighbors Bud Buckwald and Ernesto Gonzales. A married father of three, Bud is a Border Patrol agent who feels threatened by the cultural changes in his neighborhood. Next door lives Ernesto, an industrious Mexican immigrant and father of four, who is proud of himself for making it in America. When the paths of the two neighbors cross, the families intertwine through friendship, romance and conflict.
