Batman: Caped Crusader plot

In Gotham City, the corrupt are in the majority. Criminals can virtually run rampant and law-abiding citizens live in a constant state of fear. Born from tragedy, wealthy socialist Bruce Wayne becomes something both more and less than human: the Batman. His crusade for justice attracts unexpected allies within City Hall and the police force, but his heroics have deadly, unforeseen consequences.
