The Story of God with Morgan Freeman plot

Morgan Freeman is looking for answers to the big questions of faith of people from different cultures and religions, especially the religions with a god. With this he visits historical places in the world and he lets the local people speak, who tell about their experience with the faith at the relevant historical places. In the series, Freeman will visit locations including the Mount of Olives, Dome of the Rock and Western Wall of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, the Bodhi Tree in India, Maya City in Mexico and Lakewood Church in Houston.

Fairly fascinating series in which Morgan Freeman travels the world in search of answers to the big questions of faith of people from different cultures and religions. Fortunately not edifying, but mainly with a scientific approach, so that atheists like the undersigned can also benefit from it. Beautifully portrayed, with beautiful location work in Varanassi, Luxor and Jerusalem, among others. Some repetition here and there, especially because almost every episode travels to the same cities, but for the most part the series is entertaining and informative. And of course Freeman remains a great storyteller.
