Zeer onderhoudende, visueel spectaculaire zesdelige documentaire-reeks van National Geographic, waarin de enthousiaste avonturier Bertie Gregory afreist naar een aantal uithoeken van de wereld, op zoek naar bijzondere ontmoetingen met allerlei wilde beesten. De energie en charme van Gregory werkt aanstekelijk en hij zorgt voor aangenaam vertier, daarbij geholpen door werkelijk prachtige opnamen. Vooral de aflevering over Antarctica is wat dat betreft indrukwekkend.

Highly entertaining, visually spectacular six-part documentary series by National Geographic, in which the enthusiastic adventurer Bertie Gregory travels to a number of remote corners of the world, in search of special encounters with all kinds of wild animals. Gregory's energy and charm are infectious and he provides pleasant entertainment, aided by truly beautiful recordings. The episode about Antarctica is particularly impressive in this respect.
