Dinotopia plot

Half-brothers Karl and David Scott take a flight with their father in his private jet. However, they get caught in a storm and crash off the coast of an unknown island. Their father disappears without a trace after the crash. Karl and David soon discover that the island is inhabited by intelligent dinosaurs and other humans who once washed up here. The two boys are integrated into the community, but struggle to adjust. Then it turns out that the island is under threat and the brothers decide to give the population a helping hand.
