Starts off a bit stiff, after a smooth and spectacular pilot episode, but at a certain point the events and the characters start to get a little interesting. Then it gets really exciting. A little more depth wouldn't have hurt and in terms of action and atrocities, the series is on the tame side. So there is still a lot to improve in the second season.
