The Last Thing He Told Me plot
When Hannah's husband suddenly disappears without a trace after a year of marriage, he just manages to smuggle a note to her with the text 'Protect her'. His wife left behind knows exactly what the note refers to: His sixteen-year-old daughter Bailey. However, Bailey wants nothing to do with her new stepmother. Despite that, they try to find the truth about the disappearance together. But as they piece together the pieces of Owen's past, they soon realize they're also building a new future. One that neither Hannah nor Bailey could have foreseen.

The first season was still decent, but this was truly terrible. It was more like MacGyver. So unbelievable and really sometimes even ridiculous. Not that Garner did a bad job, but that couldn't save this long-drawn-out misery...
