Daisy Jones & the Six plot

Based on the story of British-American band Fleetwood Mac, whose members' behind-the-scenes drama fueled their musical output, inspired 'rock and roll' drama series. Daisy is the leader of a 1970s rock band that began in the Los Angeles music scene and went on to become one of the most legendary bands in the world. However, the group is doomed to break up at the peak of their success.

Heerlijke 10-delige miniserie over een fictieve rockband (duidelijk gemodelleerd naar Fleetwood Mac) uit de jaren zeventig die begint in de muziekscene van Pittsburgh en uitgroeit tot een van de meest legendarische bands ter wereld. De groep is echter gedoemd uit elkaar te gaan op het hoogtepunt van hun succes. Slim opgezet als muziekdocumentaire, met interviews in het heden en flashbacks naar het verleden, is dit een bijzonder meeslepende, vaak erg grappige en sporadisch ook behoorlijk aangrijpende serie. Leuk tijdsbeeld, eersteklas cast en prima muziek. Voor fans van de film Almost Famous een absolute must see.

Wonderful 10-part miniseries about a fictional rock band (clearly modeled on Fleetwood Mac) from the 1970s that starts in the Pittsburgh music scene and grows into one of the most legendary bands in the world. However, the group is doomed to break up at the height of their success. Cleverly designed as a music documentary, with interviews in the present and flashbacks to the past, this is a particularly compelling, often very funny and occasionally quite moving series. Nice portrait of the era, first-class cast and excellent music. An absolute must see for fans of the film Almost Famous.
