Kōdo Giasu: Hangyaku no Rurūshu plot

The Empire of Britannia has invaded Japan with the help of giant robots called Knightmare Frames. Japan is now referred to as Area 11, and the people of the country are the Elevens. A Briton living in Japan at the time, Lelouch, swore to his Japanese friend Suzaku that he would destroy Britannia. Years later, Lelouch is in high school, but regularly drops out of school to play chess and gambling. One day he runs into a bunch of terrorists, Elevens, who have stolen a military secret. Lelouch is caught by Suzaku, a member of the Britannian task force sent after them. As the rest of the team arrives, Suzaku is shot for disobeying orders, while the military secret, a young immortal witch, gives Lelouch the power of Geass. With this power, everyone follows up on every order. While Suzaku secretly becomes the pilot of Britannia's brand new prototype Knightmare, Lelouch becomes the masked "Zero". He will lead the rebellion to destroy Britannia once and for all.
