Shin Seiki Evangerion plot
The year is 2015, and half of the world's population has died and fell victim to the disaster called Second Impact. After a call from his mysterious father, 14-year-old Shinji Ikari arrives in the rebuilt city of New Tokyo-3, just like a giant creature identified as an "Angel". Shinji is forced to step into the cockpit of a giant bio-mechanical construct known as an Evangelion. He must defend the city from the savage angel or die trying!

I used to be quite into anime when I was a teenager and I was regularly recommended this one, but it never happened. Saw it some time ago on Netflix and decided to finally watch it. Don't mind it. Maybe I am now outside the target group in my thirties? Found it really boring and don't get the appeal. Action scenes were not very exciting, drawings I have seen much better, characters mwa. Maybe just not for me.
