American Liz Ortecho is a medical researcher. One day she returns to her hometown of Roswell, New Mexico. Here Liz reconnects with her old childhood sweetheart Max, who is now a police officer with the local police. It soon becomes apparent that Max has a big secret. In reality, he is an alien with special powers. After this revelation, Liz decides to help him. Together they go in search of more information about his true origins. The presence of aliens on Earth has sparked the interest of US authorities.
