Mr. A & Mr. M: The Story of A&M Records plot
Herb Alpert was a musician, Jerry Moss a businessman. When the well-known record companies of the 1960s began to lack creativity, the need for a label that focused on the artist grew. And so A&M Records was born. It all started in a garage, but the label quickly grew to represent artists such as Joe Cocker, Cat Stevens and Carole King. In no time, Herb and Jerry built the musical empire they had always dreamed of.
