The Worst Week of My Life plot

There are only seven days to go before Mel and Howard get married at the beautiful venue at her parents' house. As the week begins, the happy couple blissfully looks forward to their wedding, until a frantic phone call from Mel's mother, Angela, disrupts their peaceful morning. Howard has one task to complete before they visit Mel's parents later that evening, but his office friends throw him a surprise drink and things don't quite go to plan. This turns out to be just the beginning of a disastrous week.
