Anne plot

Anne is set in the last years of the nineteenth century. A brave orphaned child with great passions finds an unexpected home with a hardy, unmarried woman and her gentle, single brother in a conservative village. This misfit fights for love, acceptance and a place in the world. Over time, the 13-year-old orphan transforms the lives of the villagers and learns to live with her unique imagination.

Blijft een opvallend leuke serie. Dit seizoen heeft de moderne kijk op zaken iets teveel invloed op het gehele verhaal en de sfeer naar mijn smaak, maar gelukkig staan daar veel goede punten tegenover.

Still a remarkably fun series. This season the modern take on things has a bit too much influence on the whole story and atmosphere for my taste, but luckily there are many good points in return.
