Peep Show plot

Peep Show follows the mostly sexually frustrated lives of two men in their late 20s, Mark Corrigan and Jeremy ("Jez"). They know each other from the University of Dartmouth and now share an apartment in Croydon, South London. Mark works in finance and is successful, but he has problems dealing with people and sees life as bleak. Jeremy rents a room in Mark's apartment. He has a more optimistic outlook on life than Mark, but his musical talent has not yet been recognised, and he is not as popular or attractive as he would like.

I watched the first season yesterday, and it remains a funny series about these two thirty-something men trying to make it. At times, the humor is quite dark. The expressions on the two men's faces are funny enough, especially David Mitchell's. It's been 23 years since the first season aired, and it's remarkably relevant. References to Israel and Palestine, Russia, and political correctness. 23 years ago, there were no smartphones, and that's the only thing that's no longer relevant: the phones and the fact that televisions aren't flat screens, but boxes.

Do you think he really wonderful, Sting, if the Russians loved their children too?
