Bizarre when a camp festival like the Dutch 'Heer & Meester' is not written much worse than an American production of millions. Scofield's setup in a Yemeni horror prison could have turned out positive, but for some reason a soulless conspiracy had to be written around a hidden intelligence agency. You can see plot twists coming from miles away. The dramatic developments are stupid and forced, with an emphasis on super-sentimental drama about family values and fidelity. The action sequences are too weak for a production that mostly revolves around the actions and not the strong plot. Even the cameos turn out to be a disappointment when old acquaintances show up for no other reason than to be in the picture for a while. For me, T-Bag was ultimately the reason to watch this season, but Robert Knepper doesn't even get the space to portray his iconic character as vicious as he used to be.

I thought long and hard about what I was going to do with this grade and in the end I gave it a tight fail.
Like many others, I was incredibly looking forward to this season. Finally all my favorite characters are back. The first episode I really enjoyed seeing everyone in Prison Break again. The first episode also gave hope for a good season. It soon became clear that it wouldn't be a season 1, but I was also hopeful that it wouldn't be season 4. The first episodes were a bit in between. I actually found the story in Yemen interesting, but the story in America did not appeal to me at all.
In the end it was all about Poseidon and that really has been the biggest mistake of this season. Predictable and uninteresting. I did not enjoy watching the last episodes. Many old characters only have a (small) supporting role and I had not fully adapted to that and was therefore a big disappointment. I also agree with the above comments that T-Bag in particular deserved a (much) bigger role. In my opinion the most impressive character of the entire series, for me also the best actor of this series.
All in all, I'm just pretty disappointed. Somehow they are lucky that they have let most of the characters return, so I (especially in that first episode) got a bit of the old feeling back. If this had been an unknown series, I would most likely have dropped out and think the figure would have been even lower.

No high-flyer, and many MacGyver moments, but the tension was as usual. Towards the end it all gets a bit less, but all in all it looks good.
