Nice third season. It got bigger and bigger and more spectacular, took on epic proportions, although the makers eventually turned out to have taken a little too much. At a certain point you come to a point that it becomes cluttered and the story is difficult to follow and, moreover, the realistic aspect had few clues in the long run. To what extent does it still make sense to put someone on the wrong track if you no longer have solid ground under your feet? At the start of the final everything was open, but in the end little fell into place. Too bad, because I really enjoyed the run-up.

Tough season to rate. On the one hand I thought this was a big improvement compared to the second season, but again it doesn't make it to the first season. The big culprit is the fact that the makers let deceased characters come back. It makes it more complex and it creates a lot of unnecessary storylines. Bernard and William, for example, did not find anything to add this season. In terms of performance, Wood again steals the show, but my compliments certainly go to Thompson and Cassel.
The most impressive thing about Westworld are the grand locations. The futuristic world was very convincing, although I did miss the familiar locations this season.
In short, this series is really going to be a love/hate relationship, but I'm already looking forward to the sequel.
