Neil Hackett is a rather tense and hardworking father. When he decides to buy a lodge in the Lake District, he hopes this shows that he too can be loose and cozy. However, his dream of living in the Lake District is soon shattered when he meets his neighbours, the Dillons. Robert and Penny Dillon are very successful people who seem to go through life without any effort. Although the Hacketts and the Dillons are quite different, they will have a lot to do with each other now that they are neighbors.
