Michael B. Jordan would be open to reprising his role as Erik Killmonger in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In Black Panther, Killmonger emerged as the villain of the piece as he challenged King T'Challa for the throne of Wakanda, believing it is rightfully his.
In the end, T'Challa, played by Chadwick Boseman, emerged victorious which allowed him to help in the battle against Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War.
Jordan received acclaim for his performance as Killmonger as he was seen as a villain with extra dimensions, as his motives do generate a certain amount of empathy.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be released this November, and there will likely be further entries in the franchise which would allow for a potential Killmonger return even after his death.
"I don't know if it's a possibility. Being able to be in the Marvel Universe was a dream come true, and if there was an opportunity for me to come back, of course, I would, the Creed actor said in an interview with Extra.
"I'm not one of those guys like, 'No, I would never.'
"Working with Ryan (Coogler, Black Panther director) what we did on that first project, and what Marvel does as a whole, is something that as a fan and a nerd and as a geek that I am, I just love to see those movies and those characters come to life."
Michael B. Jordan inspired to direct by Coogler
Jordan will make his directorial debut with the third entry in the Creed franchise, and he says that working with Coogler on Black Panther helped inspire him to get in the director's chair.
"I think the more I've been on sets, the more I learn from everybody. All the moving pieces, all the department heads, everything that goes into a film or television show. I think over time, being in front of the camera, you start to have a stronger opinion," he explained.
"I think just over the years, especially after working with Ryan on our first film Fruitvale Station, think being able to see somebody who looks like me, same age, kind of commanding the set and directing the film, it definitely gave me that kind of feeling that I could do it, too."
