Growing up, young Tully Rice is faced with a choice: either escape the shadow of his infamous and late father, a dreaded and famous gunfighter, and stay on the straight and narrow, or choose his father's way too. Many young men go for the latter and challenge Tully. Though Tully remains indecisive, he is confronted by a group of young men who consider him their leader. Problems arise when part of the group plans a bank robbery without Tully knowing about it. Will Tully choose the right path after all and can he prevent this bank robbery?
