Monty Manson unleashes a deadly aggressive horse to ruin the valuable horses of the neighboring ranchers. Roy Rogers winters on the ranch of Colonel Harkrider, his daughter Kay and grandson Larry. Rogers tries to expose Manson, but is captured by Manson's men. Overcoming his fear of horses, Larry mounts Trigger to help Roy out.
