The Warrant plot
Sheriff John Breaker is a heroic veteran of the American Civil War. He is reunited with his son to arrest another veteran, a friend of Breaker who is now a notorious gang leader. The crimes and robberies of this gang endanger the post-war peace. Their mission becomes even more dangerous when it turns out that some self-proclaimed vigilantes are also after the gang.
