Missouri, 1865. Will Owen, Jesse Wallace Wants and Clint Priest are three Confederate soldiers who, along with many comrades, are held captive in a Union warehouse. One day the opportunity to escape presents itself and they decide to grab it with both hands. Shortly afterwards they come into contact with an outlaw gang. Their leader Kelly targets a gold transport, and orders the three companions to investigate the case. With no other choice, Owen and his friends accept the assignment.
