After being shot, mortally wounded Marshall Dawson gives his badge to Dave Hayes and asks him to finish his job. Hayes grants that request, but when Bowie, the man who shot the Marshall, shows up, he exposes Hayes as an impostor and accuses him of shooting the Marshall.
