The Dawn Rider

Another Lone Star production movie with John Wayne. Story is the same as almost all John Waynes, I thought for a second that he wasn't going to run with the girl but then it turns out they eventually get married.

Nothing special and tomorrow I'll probably forget about it.

2*

This was very mediocre. Huge short story where in some scenes the plot is advanced and in a number of others something of character development and conflict setting. But all that too short and beyond that very stiff acting (actually this cannot be called acting). And out of nowhere there's the last scene where Wayne is getting married. Also few wide shots and many scenes inside so that the environments are not shown and hardly any atmosphere can be created (at least, not that atmosphere of westerns). Anyway, I still have a whole box of these kind of short Wayne westerns, I'm starting to fear the worst. For this 1.0*.
