The Big Hop plot
"A Romance of the West plus the Perils of the Air"
Buck Bronson works at a ranch. June Halloway, his girlfriend, persuades her wealthy father to enter Buck for the Honolulu plane race. The villain Ben Barnett is also in love with June and intoxicates Buck's friend and copilot just before the start of the race. He hopes that Buck's inexperience with flying a plane will prove fatal to him.
