Stranger from Santa Fe plot
"BRAZEN BANDITS BITE THE DUST...as Johnny goes into ACTION!"
US marshal Nevada McKenzie travels under the alias Roy Ferris towards the Bar X ranch. The ranch, owned by Marcia Earley after her father's death, has to contend with a gang of cattle thieves. En route, Nevada is forced by a masked horseman to participate in a stagecoach robbery. Upon arrival at the ranch, Marcia hands over control of the ranch to Nevada, much to the dismay of her fiancé Ned Grimes. Nevada partner Marshal Hopkins arrives just in time to assist Nevada during a gunfight with cattle thieves. In that fight, cowboy Dan Murray kills the ranch foreman, who was secretly a member of the gang of cattle thieves. Dan is jailed along with Nevada for recognizing him as the stagecoach robber.
