"Oh, Boy! -wait until you see how this action whirlwind stepped right into high society, cleaned up a murderous gang, and won the girl he loves. It's a real Western knockout!"
"Dirty Neck" Jack Purvin sees in the newspaper a picture of the famous star from the east Helen van Smythe. The newspaper says that she is visiting the town where Jack lives. Jack quickly leaves for San Francisco to learn how to behave like a real gentleman, in order to impress the beautiful lady. Dressed as a real dandy, Jack returns to his ranch. His good looks take a beating when he has to act as savior from Helen to protect her from a man pretending to be royalty. Helen's mother must also be rescued from a jewel thief.
