John Coventry, aka Gentry, who heads a band of outlaws, tries to escape through the Mexican border after a bank robbery. They manage to escape their pursuers. However, their flight comes to a halt near the deserted desert village of Quantez. Gang member Heller discusses the Chaney taken with his other gang members, which leads to mutual tension. Chaney is a young blonde with low self-esteem. Forced to repel an attack by the Apaches, led by Delgadito, the outlaws find themselves far more vulnerable than they initially thought.
