"WHEN "HORSE-THIEF" MEANT LYNCHING...and a horse-pistol was law!"
Lieutenant Steve Nolan and Corporal Banjo Bonner must track down a band of horse thieves on behalf of the military that needs mustangs. The leader of the gang is "El Vengador". Steve disguises himself as a cowboy looking for work and when he arrives in Benton, Oklahoma, he witnesses a robbery at the post office. The villagers think Steve is an accomplice of the robbers, having just tried to stop the robbery. Steve was injured and is being transported by order of the judge to the nearest city to have his injuries treated.
