Two men (Thurman and Beady) and a woman (Georgia) cheat in Alaska by selling gold mines of salt to gullible newcomers. But when the trio gets too hot in the cold north, they head for the green pastures of the western United States. Their business is going well until young rancher Tom Hatfield falls into their trap. Georgia falls in love with Tom and this causes problems for both her partners Thurman and Beady.
