"Big Boy Bradford Draws a Bead on the Bad Men!--and quiet little Valley City thinks a lightning bolt has hit town--and they're not far wrong."
By supplying horses, Stan Bradford becomes embroiled in a conflict between Cobb Wayne and Jeff Corbin. Wayne tries to keep Corbin from building a phone line. When Corbin can't get things done on time, Wayne gets a chance to finish the job. Bradford is about to return home, but when Wayne's men shoot Corbin, he decides to take over Corbin's job.
