Keith Whitney, from the east, is the son of a wealthy senator. Keith heads west and ends up dead drunk in a cafe on the border. He gambles on his father's money, which was intended to buy a ranch. Keith is therefore very concerned when he hears that his father is on his way. Rancher Tex protects Keith and tells the father that Keith owns half of the ranch. Then Keith's father is kidnapped and Tex and Keith give chase to the kidnappers.
