American and British troops were stationed together at Camp Bachree during World War II. This is no problem, until American Charles Winston kills British Sergeant Quinn in a fit of rage. Colonel Adams is assigned to defend Winston. After a thorough psychological examination, he is declared mentally incompetent. Not everyone agrees with this decision.
