Columna plot
Inspired by the ancient reliefs on the famous Trajan's Column in Rome, the film tells the history of the subjugation of the Dacian kingdom (modern Romania) by the Roman Emperor Trajan. These reliefs show the course of the two Dacian Wars, which Trajan waged from 101 to 107 AD. This Roman tribute went to war because he wanted to ensure the security of the Danube border. He also intended to expand his empire eastwards.
