Romania, 1953. In a small village, a young couple is about to get married. The guests arrive, the banquet is ready and everything is prepared for the ceremony until suddenly, quite unexpectedly, the Russian army arrives. Stalin is dead, national mourning has been declared and the faithful have one hour to break everything up.
