Verbrannte Erde plot

Twelve years after professional criminal Trojan was forced to flee Berlin, the search for contracts leads him back to the city. Trojan is broke and desperately needs a new job. But Berlin has changed and his old contacts are no longer of much use. Moreover, Trojan's rule of only working for money is difficult to follow in an increasingly digitalized world. It takes a while before the intermediary Rebecca finally offers him a lucrative contract: a painting by Caspar David Friedrich must be stolen from a museum.
