The Statement plot
"At the end of World War II, many of those involved in war crimes were prosecuted. Some got away. Until now."
An elderly French man, Pierre Bossard, was a Nazi sympathizer during WWII and responsible for the deaths of seven Jews. He now lives a quiet, anonymous life in the French countryside. A shift in power in the French government leads to a new investigation (while the 'old guard' always kept their hand over their heads). Pierre is now targeted by the police, assassins and a renowned Nazi tracker.
