Sarah is 11 years old when her father dies. Her mother, who has spent more time in mental institutions than at home, can't handle this loss and kills herself. 15 years later Sarah feels strong enough to return to the spacious parental villa of which she has many good, but also many painful memories. When she suddenly begins to hear voices, she becomes convinced that her mother's spirit has returned to torment her.
