Tim Ballard is married to Katherine and works for the CIA, until one day he quits his job and dedicates himself to a new mission: saving children from cartels and human trafficking. He goes to Colombia and teams up with a Batman to stop the child smugglers.

Sound of Freedom tackles such a difficult and harsh subject as child trafficking, a very important subject that deserves to be put in the spotlight. Jim Caviezel plays his role as Tim Ballard modestly but with the necessary passion. This film will not leave anyone with a heart in the right place untouched.

Mediocre action film about a former special agent who searches for a young girl in the jungle of Columbia who has fallen victim to human traffickers. Due to the docudrama-like approach, the film lacks much-needed emotions. Logic is sometimes hard to find and Jim Caviezel's poor acting talent doesn't help either. Better films have been made about this deeply sad subject.
