Murder at 75 Birch plot
Dave and Gwen are happily married and live with their four-year-old daughter in a small town in America. They have a very close relationship with Dave's brother Rick and his wife Pat, who live on the same street. The situation changes dramatically when one day Dave finds his brother unconscious at home and Pat murdered. The police don't believe Rick's story that burglars robbed the couple and Rick soon becomes one of the prime suspects. When Dave also suddenly dies, Gwen and Rick find comfort in each other, and they begin a city-wide affair. Although Gwen firmly believes in Rick's innocence at first, more and more facts come to the fore and she too begins to doubt.
