Medusa's Child plot

The terminally ill scientist Rogers Henry seems to be sorry. Regrets his bad relationship with his ex-wife Vivian and the Pentagon, his former employer. As a final legacy, he finished Medusa, a project the government has cut funding for. Medusa is a deadly nuclear weapon, which also emits an electromagnetic pulse. As a result, all electrical equipment will fail. After making amends with Vivian, he asks her to take his life's work Medusa to the Pentagon. Vivian agrees, but once on the plane it soon becomes apparent that Rogers doesn't have such good intentions at all.
