Lizzie plot
On August 4, 1892, Andrew Jackson Borden and Abby Durfee Borden are brutally murdered with an old axe. The blows of the murder weapon were so violent and numerous that their faces were disfigured beyond recognition. Although acquitted, it is common knowledge that daughter Lizzie Borden is responsible for the act. In the present day, Lizzie Allen suffers from an extreme case of amnesia. When her father dies, she inherits the house she grew up in. As she moves into the house, her childhood memories slowly begin to surface and she uncovers clues as to what really happened to the Borden family in 1892.
