During a burglary, brave single mother Nicole takes on two masked men. In self-defense, she kills one of them. The second manages to escape. Completely gutted by what happened, Nicole joins a support group of people who have been through something similar. There she befriends a certain Jade. What Nicole doesn't know is that this young woman was the girlfriend of the burglar she killed. Jade wants revenge, and Nicole's life soon turns into a series of catastrophic events. It even comes to the point that Nicole herself is suspected of a serious crime. The cunning Jade rubs her hands with pleasure. But then - completely unexpected - the second burglar reports to Jade, with a vehement threat...
