"Some people are dying to hear it."
As a school project, three students do a gossip test: they spread the rumor that a girl has been raped by her boyfriend, to see how long it takes for the rumor to spread. However, the girl cannot remember anything about the evening in question, and believes the rumor.

Tried this one too and didn't like it. He looks good and the pace is good. The cast was also good.
The story also appealed to me. The ending was good, not super surprising (you can expect something like this with these kind of films), but appropriate.
For the rest, it is not immediately a film that will win an Oscar, but it is ideal for snuggling up in the sofa for an hour and a half.

Too bad the first half of Gossip comes across as dull and amateurish. Far too long scenes in noisy discos with dated dance music and unnecessary uninteresting dialogues. It wasn't until Derrick visited Naomi, about halfway through the film, that Gossip picked up speed with more story, action and suspense. Despite that, I am left a little disappointed.

Predictable movie. The story is reasonable and the student life is well developed, but it has all been done before and better. That one gossip can have such consequences is a bit unlikely and the film just doesn't want to be exciting or interesting. The actors have all ended up well, but here they are very mediocre. Fortunately, the film is short and the pace is good. Unfortunately, that cannot make up for the shortcomings.
