Fly-By-Night plot
Young and naive intern Jeff Burton offers a lift to a strange-looking man. It soon turns out that Jeff's passenger is Professor Langner. Langner is a scientist who has just escaped from a dubious sanitarium, where he was held captive by Nazi spies. When Langner is found dead a short time later, Jeff is arrested as the prime suspect. Jeff manages to escape and forces innocent bystander Pat Lindsay to pose as his wife. With Pat, Jeff travels in search of the real killers.
