Psychiatrist Isaac Barr falls in love with the sister of one of his clients. However, she is married to a mobster, whom she hates. Barr tries to persuade her to divorce him, but she fears the consequences. When she attacks her husband one day, Barr tries to keep her out of trouble.

Nice film about a psychiatrist who enters into a relationship with a married woman. A fairly complicated plot that does need some time before it starts to get interesting (the build-up is a bit long-winded). Two beautifully filmed scenes on a lighthouse and the casting also works well here.
